Why ManualMatch exists

Every year millions of people lose their appliance manuals. When a washer throws an error code or a dishwasher stops draining, the fastest fix is usually in the manual. But manufacturer sites bury PDFs behind search engines that prioritize sales pages, account logins, or regional redirects.

ManualMatch keeps a curated index of direct PDF links for popular brands. You type what you see on the sticker inside your door, and you get the file. No signup, no tracking, no waiting.

How to read a model number

  • Washers and dryers: Look on the inside edge of the door frame or on the back panel.
  • Dishwashers: Check the side of the door or the inside of the tub.
  • Refrigerators: The label is usually on an inside wall or near the temperature control.
  • Ranges and ovens: Try the drawer underside or the back near the power cord.

Common mistakes

  • Confusing the model number with the serial number. The model is shorter and often starts with letters.
  • Including dashes or spaces that are not on the label. Type exactly what you see.
  • Looking at the sales receipt instead of the appliance label. Receipts sometimes abbreviate.

What to do if the manual is not listed

Try the manufacturer's support site directly. Search for your brand plus the word "manuals" and navigate to the PDF section. If you still cannot find it, call the brand's customer line and ask them to email or mail a copy. Most will do this for free.
